Apple App Store and Google Play require your privacy disclosures (App Privacy and Data safety) to match what the app actually collects and shares. Review this text with qualified counsel and update it whenever your processing changes.
1. Who we are
The Kisy mobile application and related services are operated by Kisy Tech Ltd. Şti. (“ Kisy App”, “we”, “us”), registered in Türkiye. For our registered office address, contact [email protected]. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK or Switzerland, we act as the data controller for personal data described in this policy, unless stated otherwise. If Turkish law (including KVKK) applies to you, you may have additional rights as described under applicable law.
2. What data we process
Depending on how you use Kisy, we may process categories such as the following (update to match your product):
- Account and authentication: email or third-party login identifiers, authentication tokens, security logs.
- Profile: name or display name, age or date of birth, gender, bio, interests, photos and media you upload.
- Location: approximate or precise location when you grant permission, to power discovery and distance features.
- Activity and messaging: likes, passes, matches, blocks, reports, and chat content you send through the service.
- Device and diagnostics: device model, OS version, app version, identifiers, crash logs and limited analytics if enabled.
- Notifications: push notification tokens for the devices you use.
You must declare the same categories and purposes in App Store Connect → App Privacy and Play Console → Data safety as in this policy and in your in-product disclosures.
3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
We process personal data for purposes such as:
- Providing accounts, discovery, matching, messaging, and safety features (performance of a contract / steps prior to contract).
- Security, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and enforcing our Terms and Community Guidelines (legitimate interests and, where required, legal obligation).
- Product improvement, limited analytics, and aggregated statistics (often legitimate interests; where required, consent for non-essential tracking).
- Compliance with law and responding to lawful requests from authorities.
- Marketing communications only where permitted and with appropriate consent or soft opt-in where the law allows.
4. Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including statutory retention periods. After you request account deletion, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days), except where we must retain certain records for legal, security, or dispute resolution reasons.
5. Sharing and subprocessors
We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting), analytics or crash reporting, maps, push notifications (for example Firebase), and other vendors that help us run Kisy. A current list is available on request from [email protected]. We require subprocessors to protect personal data appropriately and only process it on our instructions.
6. International transfers
If we transfer personal data outside the EEA/UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other mechanisms recognised by applicable law, and we will provide further information where required.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
8. Age requirement
Kisy is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete the account and take appropriate steps.
9. Account and data deletion
Apple and Google expect apps that support account creation to offer in-app account deletion. Describe the path in your product (for example Settings → Account → Delete account) and explain what is deleted versus retained (for example limited retention for legal compliance).
